The Moment Discoped Truly Began

Discoped started with a shared passion, a dream of entrepreneurship, self-improvement and a love for streetwear. We always knew we wanted to start a business, but the 'what' wasn’t clear yet. After countless brainstorming sessions, we landed on clothing. In our opinion, streetwear wasn’t just about fashion; it was a form of self-expression, confidence, and attitude.

But we didn’t want to create just another clothing brand. We wanted a deeper meaning, something that truly stood for something. Many big brands lacked a real story, we saw an opportunity. Discoped was born from the idea of giving people more than just clothing, we wanted to provide them with a feeling, a movement, a lifestyle.

The Process of Starting the Brand

With this vision in mind, we started designing our first piece of clothing. This wasn’t a quick process, it took months of learning, refining and making sure our designs reflected our message and values. We had to teach ourselves everything: designing, sourcing, marketing, and running a clothing brand.

After about three intense months, our first hoodie was finalized. It had a unique design and a powerful quote that represented what we stood for: following your passions.

The First Products & Challenges We Faced

Once the design was ready, we placed our first order. But this was where things got tough. The supplier initially promised a two-month delivery time, but that stretched to four long months due to poor communication. At times, we thought we had been scammed, and it was frustrating not being able to deliver on promises to those people who were waiting for the drop.

Then, after what felt like forever, the hoodies finally arrived in the Netherlands, at a distribution center in Tilburg. We couldn’t wait until Monday for delivery, so we drove three hours to pick them up ourselves, arriving just five minutes before closing time. The moment we held our hoodies in our hands was surreal. It was the result and peak of months of hard work, and the motivation it gave us was next-level.

Our Very First Customer

Now, it was time to sell. Our first customers were friends and family who had supported us from the start. The first-ever order came from an old friend, who, to this day, holds the record for owning the most Discoped items.

Soon, we were selling hoodies to people all over the country, and the rest is history. What started as an idea had turned into reality. And this was just the beginning.


This is how Discoped was born. A journey fueled by passion, setbacks, and the drive to create something meaningful. And now, we continue to grow, evolve, and bring our vision to life.
